WHAT ARE THE BLUE HILLS?
The Blue Hills are located in Rusk County just North of Bruce and Weyerhaeuser, or East of Rice Lake. Loaded with County Forest and several Lakes this is one of the most beautiful spots in Northern Wisconsin! The Blue Hills Trails offer nature enthusiasts, hikers, bikers, hunters, and skiers a beautiful scenic adventure. There is a wooded 12 mile trail throughout the Blue Hills, meandering over the stream. 270 miles of groomed snowmobile trails, state funded. There are also ATV trails. Lets not forget about Christy Mountain where you can ski, snowboard, tube! Hike or snowshoe thru the Hills or on the Ice age trail! Go camping, swimming, fishing, canoeing, rafting, hunting...with a great amount of county land and many lakes to choose from, there is something for everyone in Rusk County!
